Nitin Desai: Art director Nitin Desai was found hanging in his studio, fear of suicide

Art Director Nitin Desai Committed Suicide: Nitin Desai, a well-known art director of Bollywood and Marathi cinema, committed suicide around 4 am on Wednesday. If reports are to be believed, 58-year-old Nitin Desai committed suicide by hanging himself at ND Studio in Karjat.

 

Nitin Desai has designed the sets of films for many big directors of Hindi cinema. Khalapur police are probing the matter. Talking on this matter, Maharashtra MLA Mahesh Baldi said that Nitin Desai was facing a financial crisis for a long time.

Nitin Desai's body was found hanging - Raigarh SP

News agency ANI shared the statement of Raigarh SP on its official Twitter account. Raigad SP said,

 

Maharashtra MLA Mahesh Baldi told that Nitin was struggling with the financial crisis.

Apart from Raigarh SP, Maharashtra MLA Mahesh Baldi said, "He was in financial distress because of the money. When I met him a month and a half ago, he told me. This incident happened around 4 am, The chief worker there informed me over the phone at around 8 to 8.30 am.

 

Nitin Desai ji had given work to the local people there. Only then we came to know that he was in financial distress. Apart from this, no other reason for suicide is yet visible".

 

Designed sets in films of big directors

Art director Nitin Desai did a lot of work in the industry. He designed sets of films like Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam to Devdas. Apart from this, he also designed the set of director Ashutosh Gwariker's film 'Jodha Akbar' and Salman Khan's film 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo'. Nitin Desai has also been honored with the National Award four times.
