BJP leader Amit Malviya alleged that during the Kolkata Film Festival, Arijit Singh sang the song 'Rang de tu mohe gerua' from Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol's film 'Dilwale' in front of CM Mamata Banerjee on stage. For this reason, HIDCO, a government organization of West Bengal, has canceled Arijit Singh's show at Eco Park.
Amit Malviya has also shared a video on his Twitter account, in which Arijit Singh is singing the song 'Rang de tu mohe gerua' in front of Mamta Banerjee. However, Dainik Jagran does not verify this video.
The Mayor of Kolkata told the reason
At the same time, State Minister and Mayor of Kolkata Firhad Hakim has given the reason for cancellation of Arijit Singh's show. Hakim explained that the show could not be allowed because it was clashing with the G-20's scheduled schedule.
