A video has created a stir amid the tussle between the ruling and opposition parties over the Waqf Amendment Bill. In the video, people are being appealed to oppose the Waqf Bill. Some people are campaigning against the Gali-Lagi Bill through loudspeakers.

People are also being requested to give their opinion against the bill. It is also being said that if this bill is passed, our mosques, shrines, and graveyards will be taken away. Godda MP Nishikant Dubey has also reacted to the video.

The Waqf Amendment Bill 2024 was introduced in the Lok Sabha on August 8. However, after heavy pressure from the opposition, it has been sent to the Joint Committee of Parliament. The committee has sought opinions from Muslim organizations on the bill. Any common man can also send his opinion to the committee. In the video too, people are being asked to send their opinion.

What is in the viral video?

The viral video seems to be of a market. In this, a person has a loudspeaker on his shoulder. Another person is giving a speech from the mic. In the one-minute video, the person is saying that the Waqf Bill 2024 has been canceled in the Parliament for the time being. It is present with the Joint Parliamentary Committee and the Joint Parliamentary Committee has sought opinion. Therefore, all women, men sisters, and brothers are requested to present their opinion.

No member of the house should remain idle. Every child has a mobile. Present your opinion against this bill through your mobile. Remember, if this bill is passed, our mosques, tombs, and graveyards will be taken away. Lakhs of properties of the Waqf Board will be taken away. We have time till the 13th. Present your opinion to the committee through email.

Attempt to create hatred against Modi: Nishikant

BJP MP from Godda, Jharkhand, Nishikant Dubey wrote on his X account that the Waqf Amendment Bill is pending with the Joint Committee of Parliament. I am a member of it. The mind is disturbed after watching this video. I have read the entire bill at least 100 times. Under which section of this bill is the government bringing a law to occupy mosques, graveyards, dargahs, and madrasas? Dubey said that the foundation of lies, vote bank politics and blind politics of opposition to Modi have constantly tried to create hatred in the minds of a particular section of the country.
