Congress sources say that Ajay Maken and Mallikarjun Kharge will meet Sonia Gandhi and inform them about the whole matter. But the party leadership has found the attitude of Ashok Gehlot to be a breach of trust and insulting. It is open to the party leadership not to meet the messengers of Sonia Gandhi and to call a separate meeting. Now there is talk of removing Ashok Gehlot from the election of the President. Meanwhile, Kamal Nath has come to Delhi. From this, it is also being speculated whether Kamal Nath will get this post.

Congress sources say that Ashok Gehlot's action makes the high command feel that it will send a message that the Gandhi family no longer has the same hold over the party as before. The high command wants to avoid showing such a situation. In such a situation, only another leader can be brought to the post of president. At the same time, in Rajasthan too, now the party leadership would like to create some balance so that Ashok Gehlot does not become unbridled. The reason for this is that the high command has understood the attitude of Ashok Gehlot that he can go to any extent seeing his power shaken.

The big concern of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi is that they had given preference to Ashok Gehlot based on his reliable leadership and experience. But now Gehlot's attitude has raised concerns and the Gandhi family is seeing it as a breach of trust. At the same time, the difficulty for the high command is that Rahul Gandhi himself has said that the policy of one post and one leader will be strictly implemented. In such a situation, now any kind of agreement will be a matter of reversing from its stand. In such a situation, it is believed that the relationship between Ashok Gehlot and the Gandhi family will not remain as before.
