Since the story of our film is set on Bengal, we chose the time to launch its trailer in August. But the government silenced us. This is not only arbitrary but also completely against the Constitution.

 

Apart from this, in an interview given to India Today, The Bengal Files actress has continued her point and said- Whatever happened during the trailer launch that day was not only an attack on a film but also on democracy. The voice of us and India was suppressed. Our film is made on the subject of the lack of human life and dignity, and the state government has justified our subject by banning it.
