She acted in films with famous actors of all languages, including Dilip Kumar, Rajendra Kumar, Dev Anand, MGR, NTR, Shivaji Ganesan, and Raj Kumar. Saroja Devi brought life to every character she played. She contributed a lot to taking the Kannada film industry forward. B. Saroja Devi's last rites will be performed in her hometown.'

B. Saroja Devi had done more than 200 films in her career, which included Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi films. Saroja Devi also got the first superstar status in Kannada cinema. Saroja Devi was also honored for her contribution to cinema. She was given the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Government of India in 2008. She was awarded Padma Bhushan in 1992 and Padma Shri in 1969. In the year 1994, Filmfare honored her with the Lifetime Achievement Award (South).
