Vipin tried to escape from police custody

After this, he was admitted to the JIMS hospital. At the same time, the police also arrested the mother, Daya, who came to see her injured son, Vipin, in the hospital wearing a burqa.

The victim's parents are not satisfied with the accused getting shot in the leg. The deceased's father, Bhikhari Singh, says that he should have been shot in the chest, not in the leg. Only then would the heart have gotten relief. He has also demanded that the police take such action against the other absconding accused.
