Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra: Nyay Yatra started from Boginadi on the seventh day, Rahul met people on foot

Only a few months are left for the Lok Sabha elections to begin. In such a situation, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has started the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra of more than 6,700 kilometers from Manipur to Mumbai. Today is the seventh day of his journey. The yatra started from Manipur on January 14 and will end in Mumbai on March 20. In Assam, the yatra will continue till January 25 and will pass through 110 districts of 15 states.

 

Congress's Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra resumed from Boginadi in the Lakhimpur district on Saturday. As soon as the journey started by bus, people standing on the roadside started welcoming Rahul Gandhi. In such a situation, he decided to get off the bus. During this, he talked to people and walked with them.

 

According to the schedule shared by the party, the yatra will halt at Govindpur (Laluk) for some time. Here senior leaders Jairam Ramesh, Jitendra Singh, Bhupen Bora, and Debabrata Saikia will address a press conference. Later in the afternoon, the journey will start again from Harmuti. Later it will enter Arunachal Pradesh via Gumto, where the flag handover ceremony will be held.

 

Congress general secretary in-charge communications Jairam Ramesh said that the Congress president has written a three-page letter to the committee asking why we are opposing 'one nation one election'. He said that this is against democracy and we will continue to oppose it.
