The people of the country should take a pledge of Swadeshi. We will buy those things that India has sweated to make. We have to adopt the Vocal for Local mantra. We should take a pledge that we will promote Make in India. Whatever new goods come to our house will be indigenous only. The people of the country will have to take this responsibility. PM Modi said these things while addressing a public meeting in the village of Banauli Sevapuri on Saturday.

PM Modi said that today the world is going through many apprehensions. There is an atmosphere of instability. All the countries of the world are focusing on their interests. India is going to become the third-largest economy in the world. Now India will also have to be vigilant about its economic interests. Farmers, our small industries, and employment are paramount for us. The government is making every effort in this direction.

The PM said that we should take a pledge that we will promote Make in India. Whatever new goods come to our house will be Swadeshi. Shopkeepers should take a pledge that they will sell only Swadeshi goods. Diwali will come, and during festivals, we will buy Swadeshi every moment.
