It has come to light that benzoyl peroxide i.e. bleaching powder was used in the explosion. Some other chemicals were also mixed with the powder, but the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) in Rohini has not been able to find out which chemicals they were. On the other hand, officials say that bleaching powder has not been used in terrorist incidents or bomb blasts to date. In such a situation, either someone is throwing waste material or mischief is being done.

It is used for better results.
The Prashant Vihar police station is investigating the blast near the CRPF school. The investigation did not reveal any evidence of a terrorist act or a bomb blast, so the investigation was not given to the Special Cell. An FIR was also registered in the Prashant Vihar police station in the case of the second blast. However, other agencies are also investigating.
'It is not a mischief, there is a message in the blasts'
