A big revelation has been made when investigating the blast near Bansivala Sweets and CRPF School in Prashant Vihar. It has come to light that benzoyl peroxide i.e. bleaching powder was used in the explosion. Some other chemicals were also mixed with the powder, but the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) in Rohini has not been able to find out which chemicals they were. On the other hand, officials say that bleaching powder has not been used in terrorist incidents or bomb blasts to date. In such a situation, either someone is throwing waste material or mischief is being done.

Benzoyl peroxide is not used for bomb blasts.

According to the lab officials, benzoyl peroxide is not used for bomb blasts. The police have not found any device used for bomb blasts from the spot.

What is benzoyl

Benzoyl peroxide is an anti-acne ingredient found in gels, cleansers, and spot treatments. It is used in varying doses to treat mild to moderate acne. Despite being effective in removing bacteria and dead skin cells from pores, it has its limitations. It treats acne and reduces acne-causing bacteria and prevents skin from becoming dry and peeling. It is used for better results.

The Prashant Vihar police station is investigating the blast near the CRPF school. The investigation did not reveal any evidence of a terrorist act or a bomb blast, so the investigation was not given to the Special Cell. An FIR was also registered in the Prashant Vihar police station in the case of the second blast. However, other agencies are also investigating.

'It is not a mischief, there is a message in the blasts'

According to former Deputy Commissioner of Police L N Rao, two blasts in 40 days seem to indicate that this is not a mischief, but there is a message in it. The mischief maker will not work so hard. A terrorist organization may be behind these blasts. They want to send a message to the agencies by carrying out the blast that we can do a lot.

The explosives have been made in such a way that it creates fear in people. The chemicals or powders used in the explosives are easily available in the market. First, there was a blast on the wall of the CRPF school. Then, a few meters away, there was a blast in front of the Crime Branch office.

The movement stopped at the scene.

After the blast in Delhi's Prashant Vihar, the police stopped movement at the scene on Friday and all shops, etc. remained closed. The police examined the footage of CCTV cameras installed in shops and houses. The police say that the case is being investigated in connection with the blast on the wall of the CRPF school on October 20. Along with the police, central agencies are also investigating the blast, but nothing has been achieved so far that can be said about who did the blast and why. Apart from the police's Special Cell, Crime Branch, teams of FSL Rohini, NSG and NIA have taken samples, etc. Dump data of all the people whose mobiles were operated within a radius of five kilometers has been taken. This is taking the investigation forward. At the place where the blast took place, there were vehicles parked and garbage. Meanwhile, someone put explosives there and covered them with garbage.

In the case of unknown people, 50 people were questioned.

In the blast near Veer Savarkar Park in B Block in Prashant Vihar, Delhi, the police have registered a case against unknown people under the Mischief with serious consequences for public safety, Damage to public property, and Explosive Substances Act.

The blast that took place on Thursday, 40 days after the blast near the CRPF school in Prashant Vihar, was of low intensity. During this, a tempo driver was injured. According to the police, the accused who put or planted explosive material at the spot are being identified.

12 teams of Delhi Police's Special Cell, Crime Branch, and local police are scanning the footage of CCTV cameras of the area. Apart from this, the police have recorded the statements of 50 people including advocate Nitin Thakur, who informed about the blast. This includes residents as well as cleaners and security guards.

Investigation so far has revealed that Chetan Kushwaha, the tempo driver injured in the incident, smokes bidi. It is suspected that the explosion occurred when a bidi was thrown on the explosives kept in the garbage. However, during interrogation, Chetan denied smoking bidi at the time of the incident.
