Lakhs of devotees are reaching Mathura due to Rangotsav in Barsana-Nandgaon. Due to this, the traffic system of Mathura city also collapsed. Due to the movement of vehicles of a large number of outside devotees, there was a jam everywhere on Monday. It seemed as if the pace of the city had stopped.

There was a sudden increase in traffic in Mathura city since Monday morning. In fact, due to the vehicles of outside devotees coming to Barsana, there was a traffic jam on many roads. There were traffic jams for most of the day at places like Arya Samaj Road, Holigate, Kotwali Road, Bharatpur Gate, Bhuteshwar, BSA College Road, New Bus Stand, etc.

Devotees from Aligarh-Hathras entered the city from across the Yamuna via the Krishnapuri and Tank intersection, the effect of their movement was also visible at Holigate, Bharatpur Gate, and Diggate. This was the reason why relatively more crowd was seen on these major routes. Whereas the devotees coming from Agra side went towards Barsana via Govardhan Square.
