One died due to Corona in Karnataka

Whereas a total of 148 positive cases have been reported in 24 hours. The deceased has been identified as a 45-year-old male from Vijayanagar.

The Department of Health and Family Welfare said a total of 7305 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. A total of 1144 active cases have been registered in Karnataka till Tuesday. As of January 2, the total number of active cases in Bengaluru rural was reported as 28, while in Bengaluru urban the number was 545.
