Corona: Decreasing infected, increasing deaths, shocking new trend of third-wave riding on Omicron

There is a steady decline in the number of new corona infections found daily in the country, but the number of deaths is increasing. If we look at the effect of the last three days of the third wave riding on the Omicron variant, the death toll seems to be increasing.

 

 

Like the infected, the number of deaths is increasing instead of decreasing rapidly. On Wednesday, the World Health Organization also claimed that there have been more than half a million deaths worldwide and 130 million people infected with the variant since Omicron was declared a worrying variant in November.

 

 

The number of corona infections in India is decreasing, but the number of dead is increasing. For the third consecutive day on Thursday, Corona has killed more than 1000 people. According to Thursday's data released by the Ministry of Health, in the last 24 hours, 67,084 new corona infections were reported and 1241 people died.

Worrying variant controlled by the vaccine

The good thing for India was that corona vaccination was done rapidly across the country. A record of more than 100 crore vaccines has been created through campaigns and great campaigns. Currently, over 1.71 billion total doses have been administered. This is the reason why Omicron could not make much impact in the country even after being a faster-spreading variant than Delta. The number of people admitted to hospitals has been negligible.

 

Delta wreaked havoc

The deadly delta wave wreaked havoc in India from April to June last year. For the first time, queues and waiting conditions were seen for burning bodies in crematoriums. No one would like to see such a dreadful phase of the pandemic again. Delta caused 2.4 lakh deaths. The number of deaths due to Omicron has not been revealed yet.
