The Saudi Arabian government has announced a big relief to the Indians coming to their country. The Saudi Embassy in New Delhi gave information about this on Thursday. The embassy said in a statement released on social media – Because of the strong relations between the two countries, we have decided that now Indian citizens going to Saudi will not need a Police Verification Certificate (PCC) while applying for a visa.

In a statement issued by the Royal Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), it was said – keeping in mind the strong relations and strategic relations with India, we have decided that in future Indian travelers going to Saudi Arabia need a police verification certificate. Will not happen. We have taken this decision to further strengthen the relations between the two countries.
Decision after Corona round
In 2019, talks about this started between the Saudi and Indian governments. During the same time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also went to Saudi. After this, there was a detailed discussion between Foreign Minister S Jaishankar and Saudi Foreign Minister about this.
Due to the Corona period, this conversation could not reach any point. Then Saudi Arabia said that it would take many decisions in the interest of Indian citizens. After this both, both countries remained in contact and now this decision of Saudi Arabia has come.
