Decision after Corona round

In 2019, talks about this started between the Saudi and Indian governments. During the same time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also went to Saudi. After this, there was a detailed discussion between Foreign Minister S Jaishankar and Saudi Foreign Minister about this.

Due to the Corona period, this conversation could not reach any point. Then Saudi Arabia said that it would take many decisions in the interest of Indian citizens. After this both, both countries remained in contact and now this decision of Saudi Arabia has come.

both countries benefit

Saudi Arabia's Tourism Ministry had approved visa holders to re-enter the country from 1 August 2021. This entry was closed during the Corona era. India also supplied the Corona vaccine to Saudi Arabia. For this, Saudi Prince Mohammed bin Salman himself thanked Prime Minister Modi. About 3 million Indians live in Saudi Arabia. Apart from this, thousands of Indians go to Saudi Arabia every year for the Haj pilgrimage. These people will get a lot of relief from this decision of the Saudi government.

A large number of people from India go to the Gulf countries in search of jobs. This can be gauged from the fact that about 90 lakh people of Indian origin live in only 9 countries of the Gulf.
