Corona in Delhi: Corona wreaks havoc in Delhi, one more death; 13 people have died due to infection so far

News of another death from Corona has come to light in Delhi. A 65-year-old man has died. The elderly man was suffering from mouth cancer and kidney-related disease. There are 620 active coronavirus patients in Delhi and 13 people have died.

 

On June 15, for the first time, three people died in a day due to Corona. Till then 11 people had died in Delhi due to Corona. The three people who died include two women and one man. The 57-year-old woman had diabetes and lung problems. The 57-year-old man had diabetes and lung problems. At the same time, the 83-year-old woman had diabetes, high blood pressure, and lung problems.

 

However, there has been a decline in active corona patients for three days. Last Saturday, the number of active patients came down to 672. No new case was also registered. According to the Covid dashboard of the Department of Health and Family Welfare, 212 patients defeated Corona in 24 hours. Since January 1, 1960 corona patients have been reported in Delhi, out of which 11 patients have died. Delhi ranks second in the country in total cases of corona.

 

How dangerous is the new coronavirus strain?

 

New variants usually spread rapidly, but they are not necessarily as deadly as before. The elderly, pregnant women, young children, and already sick people are at the highest risk. Starting from mild symptoms, the case can go up to severe respiratory problems.
