South actor Vijay Sethupathi is in the headlines these days. A user on the social media platform X has accused him of  abusing her. Vijay has reacted to this. He has strongly denied the allegations against him in a conversation with The Deccan Chronicle. He informed that his team has complained to the cybercrime officials about this matter.

The woman wants to gain fame.

In a statement, Vijay Sethupathi said, 'Anyone who knows me even a little will find this ridiculous. I know who I am. Such disgusting allegations do not bother me. My family and close friends are upset, but I tell them not to worry. This woman wants to attract attention. She just wants a few minutes of fame. Okay, let her gain fame.'

Whispers will not have any effect.

Vijay further said, 'We have complained about this matter to the cyber crime. For the last seven years, I have been facing constant whispers. It has not affected me in any way, nor will it ever.'

Allegations of the molestation of a woman

Vijay was accused of exploitation by a woman named Ramya Mohan through her ex-account. This post has now been deleted. Ramya had claimed in the post that a young woman was molested and exploited in the name of industry rules, after which she got into trouble and was helped.

What is written in the post?

Accusations were made against Vijay in the post, and it was written, 'Vijay Sethupathi has offered two lakh rupees for 'Caravan Favor' and 50 thousand rupees for 'Drive'. Despite this, he behaves like a saint on social media. Strangely, some insensitive people are more interested in questioning the truth or blaming the victim rather than accepting it.'

Vijay Sethupathi's work

Let us tell you that actor Vijay Sethupathi appears in Tamil films. He has also worked in Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawaan' and Katrina Kaif's 'Merry Christmas'. His recent release was 'Thalaivan Thalaivi', in which he starred opposite Nithya Menen.
