Corona Updates: 69,544 new cases, 1215 deaths in the country; 1000 lives were lost every day for 6 out of the first 8 days of February

In the last 24 hours, 69,544 cases of corona infection have been found in the country. A day before this, 67,597 new cases of infection were reported on Monday. In comparison, there has been a slight increase in cases on Tuesday. During this, 1.72 lakh patients were cured and 1,215 corona-infected people died. At present 8.83 lakh, people are being treated for corona in the country. Since the beginning of the epidemic in the country, a total of 4.24 crore people have come under the grip of infection.

 

For the 6th time in the last 8 days in the country, the death toll from Corona has exceeded 1,000. However, there is a steady decline in the cases. In the 8 days of February, there has been a decline of 57% in the daily cases of the corona.

In Italy, the rules for wearing masks outside the house have been relaxed. On Tuesday, the government announced that it would not be mandatory to wear a mask at all times when going out. Italy's Health Minister Roberto Speranza said that a new phase was starting on the decrease in Corona cases. Now people will only need to wear masks in indoor public settings. However, people will have to carry masks when they come out of the house so that if a crowd gathers, they can apply the mask immediately.

1. Kerala: New cases close to 30 thousand

29,471 new infected have been found here on Tuesday, while 46,393 patients have been cured and 233 people died. A day before this, 22,524 new infections were found on Monday and 127 people died.

 

A total of 63.23 lakh people have been infected here since the beginning of the epidemic. Out of these, 59.79 lakh people have been cured, while 59,939 people have died. The positivity rate is 30.86%. A day earlier, the positivity rate was 28.63%.

 

2. Maharashtra: Decrease in new cases by more than 3,00

In Maharashtra, 6,107 new cases of corona have been found in the last 24 hours. During this 57 people died and 16,035 people were cured. A day before this, there were 6,436 new cases of corona on Monday. During this, 24 people died and 18,423 patients were cured.

 

A total of 78.16 lakh people have been infected here since the beginning of the epidemic. Of these, 75.73 lakh people have been cured, while 1.43 lakh people have died. The positivity rate is 5.37%, a day before the positivity rate was 6.42%.

 

3. Madhya Pradesh: New cases decreased and 2 died

In Madhya Pradesh, 3,083 cases were reported in the last 24 hours and 6,527 people were cured. During this 4 people died. A day before this, 3,945 cases were reported on Monday and 8,130 people were cured. During this, 2 people died.

 

So far, more than 10.12 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 9.64 lakh people have been cured, while 10,668 people died. 37,143 patients are currently undergoing treatment. The positivity rate is 4.68%, which was 5.51% a day earlier.

 

4. Gujarat: Nearly three times more people have been cured than new cases

On Monday, 2,502 new cases were found in Gujarat. 7487 people defeated Corona, while 28 people died. A day before this, 2,909 new cases were found on Monday. 8,862 people were cured, while 21 people died.

 

So far, a total of 12.05 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 11.61 lakh people have been cured, while 10,716 people have died. Here the active case is 33,631 and the positivity rate is 2.78%.

 

5. Uttar Pradesh: Decline in both new cases and deaths

There were 1,921 new corona cases in the last 24 hours. 5,453 people were cured and 13 people died. Earlier on Monday, 2,403 new corona cases had come. 3,822 people were cured and 12 people died.

 

So far 20.48 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 20.02 lakh people have been cured, while 23,343 people have died. 23,180 patients are currently undergoing treatment in the state. The positivity rate here is 1.16%.

 

6. Rajasthan: New cases halved compared to the previous day

In the last 24 hours, 3,479 cases were reported in Rajasthan and 7,354 people were cured. During this 16 people died. A day before this, i.e. on Monday, 2,298 cases were reported and 7,299 people were cured. During this 12 people died.

 

So far, more than 12.50 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 12.04 lakh people have been cured, while 9,407 people died. 37,278 patients are currently undergoing treatment. The positivity rate is close to 6.98%.

 

7. Delhi: Continuous decline in new cases

On Monday, 1,114 new corona cases were reported in Delhi and 12 people died. 2,079 people have been cured. A day before this, on Sunday, 1,151 new corona cases were reported and 15 people died. 2,120 people were cured.

 

So far, more than 18.46 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 18.13 lakh have been cured, while 26,010 died. On January 15, the positivity rate in Delhi was 30%, which has come down continuously to below 3%.

 

8. Punjab: 10,351 active cases in the state

In Punjab, 489 new infections have been found on the last day and 26 people have died. 1,762 people have also recovered from the infection. A day before this, 634 new infections were found on Sunday and 33 people died. 1,601 people have also recovered from the infection.

 

So far 7.53 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 7.28 lakh people have been cured, while 17,495 people have died. The total active cases are 7,451. The positivity rate in the state is 1.99%.
