Despite strict restrictions in Shanghai, there does not seem to be any relief in Corona cases. Seven more people died in China's most populous city on Monday.

20,416 new cases in Shanghai
There has been an increase in corona cases in Shanghai. On April 18, 20,416 new cases of corona have been registered. Of these, 3,084 cases are symptomatic. On Sunday, 2,417 symptomatic cases were reported. The number of asymptomatic patients on Monday stood at 17,332.
21,600 cases in China
The highest number of cases of the corona is being reported in Shanghai itself. 21,600 new cases of corona have been registered across China on 18 April. Of these, 3,316 cases are asymptomatic while 18,284 cases are asymptomatic. The National Health Commission has given this information on Tuesday. A day before this i.e. on Sunday, a total of 23,460 cases were recorded in China. The total number of corona cases in China has now increased to 1,88,351.
