There has been an outcry from Corona in Shanghai, the financial capital of China. A record 23,513 new cases of the corona were registered here on Friday. In which the number of patients without symptoms was 19,923. There has been a lockdown in Shanghai for the last one month, even after getting so many cases, the concern of other states has increased.

Appeal to people not to go out unnecessarily

Because of the uncontrollable pace of Corona, other cities have also started taking precautionary measures. Xi'an city officials have appealed to people not to leave their homes unnecessarily and avoid unnecessary travel. After the Corona blast this month, many companies have given work from home to their employees.

On the other hand, a 14-day lockdown was imposed in the manufacturing area of Zhengzhou Airport Economic Zone in Central China on Friday. The government wants to control Corona better through the lockdown.

The country's economic pace will slow down

Shanghai is also of great importance for the economic trade of China and other countries of the world. In such a situation, experts estimate that due to the lockdown, the economic pace of the country will be affected. China's electric car marker Xpeng said automakers will have to halt production next month if suppliers in Shanghai and surrounding areas cannot resume work.

A new variant of the virus 70 km from Shanghai

Strict corona protocols have been implemented in China under the Zero Covid policy. Here the patient needs to be admitted to the hospital. Home isolation or quarantine is prohibited in China. Young children are also separated from their parents and admitted to hospitals when they have corona. Parents are angry about this.

According to the Global Times, a new variant of the virus has been found 70 km from Shanghai. This variant has evolved from Omicron's BA.1.1 variant. The report states that the new variant does not match the corona virus spread in China.
