Apart from this, 9 people died within a day. Five people have died in Kerala, while Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Haryana, and Maharashtra have one death each. With this, the death toll in the country has increased to 5 lakh 29 thousand 8.
The improved daily positivity rate
According to the Health Ministry, the daily positivity rate in the country is 0.95 percent and the weekly positivity rate is 1.11 percent. At the same time, the number of people recovering from corona in the country has increased to 4 crores 41 lakh 2 thousand 852. While the death rate in the country has been recorded at 1.18 percent. According to the Union Health Ministry, 219.62 crore doses have been given so far under the COVID-19 vaccination campaign in the country.
