A UN Security Council resolution on Wednesday (local time) urged Myanmar's junta to "immediately release all arbitrarily detained prisoners", including Aung San Suu Kyi and former President Win Myint.
A resolution on Myanmar was voted on under the Indian presidency of the UNSC. The resolution was proposed by Britain.

Regarding the resolution, 15 members of the UNSC demanded Myanmar immediately stop the violence and release those detained.
