Coronavirus Updates: Corona cases doubled in the country, with 2208 new cases in 24 hours; 12 patients died

Corona cases have increased rapidly in the country. The Health Ministry said that 2,208 new cases of corona infection have been reported in India in the last 24 hours. Corona cases have almost doubled in a single day. Yesterday i.e. on October 27, 1,112 cases of Covid were registered.

 

Active cases of less than 20 thousand

Although the cases of corona have increased, the active cases are decreasing continuously. According to the report, 3,619 patients have recovered from Corona in a day. The active cases have now come down to 19,398. On October 27, the number of active patients in the country was 20,821.

Recovery rate - 98.77 percent

Daily positivity rate - 1.55 percent

Weekly positivity rate - 1.12 percent

 

12 people died

Let us inform you that 12 people have died due to corona in one day. Kerala has recorded the maximum number of deaths of 8 people. So far, a total of 4 crores 46 lakh 49 thousand 88 cases of corona have been reported in the country. Apart from this, 4 crores 41 lakh 691 people have been cured. At the same time, 5 lakh 28 thousand 999 patients have died.
