After weeks of protests in China, the government is going to ease Covid restrictions from today. According to reports, some people infected with the coronavirus across the country will be allowed home quarantine and unnecessary testing will be curbed. In such a situation, the people of China are afraid that the virus will spread more. That's why the crowd has gathered at the medical stores. A large number of people are buying essential medicines and keeping them at home because of the possibility of getting infected with the coronavirus. Most of these people are those who have not got the Covid vaccine. Let us inform you that 24,440 corona cases were reported in China on Tuesday, which was less than 27,164 on Monday.

Zhang, 33, who lives in Chaoyang district near Beijing, says that essential medicines are rapidly disappearing from medical shops. Medicines were available last night but now many essential medicines are over. He says that a large number of corona cases are coming up in the Chaoyang district, so people are hoarding medicines because of the impending danger. Shares of pharmaceutical companies such as cough syrup maker Guizhou Belling and Jinhua Pharmaceutical have also gone up due to increased demand for medicines. The authorities have issued a warning because of the dwindling supply of medicines and rising prices. The Beijing Municipal Food and Drug Administration has said that buy medicines only when needed, and not unnecessarily collect them. However, even after the warning, people are buying medicines fiercely.
The compulsion to scan the health code will end
After the relaxation of covid restrictions, low-risk people will not have to go to isolation centers if they get corona infected. They will be able to get treated by staying in home quarantine. Corona testing will also be reduced. Only people with high risk will be tested. The Chinese government has also abolished the obligation to scan the health code before entering public places. Now lockdown will be imposed only in high-risk areas. Normal life will go on even if there are few cases in low-threat areas. Also, the speed of vaccination will be increased.
Home isolation was started in Beijing, but this rule will be implemented across the country due to the shortage of space in quarantine centers amid increasing cases. This reflects a change in China's Covid policy. Experts believe that with the easing of Covid restrictions, people will stop treating corona as a dangerous disease and see it as normal. With this, China will also fight against Covid like the rest of the world.
Chinese government forced due to protests
Protests across the country forced the Chinese government to relax Covid restrictions. The people there were upset due to the unnecessary restrictions and strictness of the zero covid policy. Due to the different rules in all the cities, people got upset and took the path of protests. The positive results of which are now coming to the fore.
