A yellow alert was issued in Himachal
According to the latest forecast issued by the Meteorological Department, a yellow alert has been issued for thunderstorms and lightning in five districts of Himachal Pradesh, Chamba, Kangra, Una, Hamirpur, and Bilaspur. There is a possibility of snowfall in the higher areas of the state and rain in the lower areas.

There is a possibility of a hailstorm with rain in Northwest India from this evening. There may be a hailstorm with rain in Punjab, West Rajasthan, Jammu-Kashmir, and Himachal Pradesh. Also, the weather may change in Haryana, Chandigarh and Assam-Meghalaya, and Nagaland, Tripura.

Heavy rains may occur in Uttarakhand, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, West UP and East India, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, and Madhya Pradesh.
