57-year-old pilot Anil Singh was living in Mumbai with his family for 15 years. His daughter's name is Firoza Singh. His wife Shirin Anandita is originally from Delhi. Anandita along with her daughter will leave for New Delhi on Wednesday to perform the last rites of her husband.

Recently the DGCA had taken the Aryan Aviation Regulator under the scanner. A fine of Rs 5 lakh was imposed on him. Now once again Aryan Aviation has come under the scanner. According to the DGCA website, this was the only 6-seater helicopter in the company's fleet of five helicopters.

The names of the deceased are Poorva Ramanuj, Kriti Broad, Urvi, Sujata, Prem Kumar, Kala, and Pilot Anil Singh. Of these, Poorva, Kriti, and Urvi are from Gujarat, Pilot Anil is from Maharashtra. The remaining three are from Tamil Nadu. A magisterial inquiry has been ordered into the accident.
