Defense Minister Rajnath Singh reviews the development of infrastructure on the LAC, and knows the condition of the jawans

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh visited the Dinjan military base in Assam on Wednesday. He reviewed the development of infrastructure along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) with China, as well as capacity development and operational preparedness. He was accompanied by Lt Gen RC Tiwari of GOC 3 Corps.

 

Rajnath Singh on a two-day visit to Arunachal

 

The Defense Minister is on a two-day visit to the border areas of eastern Arunachal Pradesh on September 28 and 29. Defense Minister Singh is accompanied by Army Chief General Manoj Pandey and Eastern Command Army Commander Lt Gen RP Kalita and other senior officers. The Defense Minister also interacted with the jawans. The soldiers also sang the song 'Sandesh Aate Hain' from the film Border in front of Rajnath Singh. The Defense Minister appreciated the talent of the jawans as well as their efforts and sacrifices for the country.

 

Defense Minister took in-depth knowledge of basic facilities

 

Raksha Mantri was briefed by Lt Gen RC Tiwari and other senior officers of GOC 3 Corps about the infrastructure development as well as capacity development and operational preparedness along the LAC. Thereafter, the Defense Minister reviewed the operational preparedness of the formation in the eastern part of the country. During the visit, the Defense Minister was also briefed about the use of state-of-the-art military equipment and technology to enhance the operational efficiency of the frontline soldiers.

 

Defense Minister to visit forward posts on the border

 

Today Rajnath Singh will visit forward posts and get first-hand information about operational preparedness and interact with soldiers. He will interact with members of the second religious campaign of the local Idu Mishmi tribe's annual trek Athu Popu, which is being facilitated by the Indian Army as part of the Indian Army's outreach from 2021 onwards to support local people and development.
