Delhi Election 2025: Kejriwal put an end to speculations of AAP-Congress alliance, said- will fight elections alone

Arvind Kejriwal has put an end to the news of the alliance between the Aam Aadmi Party and Congress in the Delhi Assembly elections. Kejriwal said that Aam Aadmi Party will contest the elections in Delhi on its strength. There is no possibility of any kind of alliance with Congress.

 

News agency ANI had claimed, citing sources, that the talks of alliance between AAP and Congress are in the final stage. Apart from the Aam Aadmi Party and Congress, there was talk of including some other parties of India Alliance in the alliance. It was being said that Congress may get 15 seats and other India Alliance members may get 1 or 2 seats. Aam Aadmi Party will contest the remaining seats on its own.

 

Arvind Kejriwal responded and denied the claim made by ANI citing sources. Kejriwal, while responding to ANI's post on the social media platform Ek, said, 'Aam Aadmi Party will contest this election in Delhi on its own. There is no possibility of an alliance with Congress.'

 

Aam Aadmi Party has so far released two lists for the Delhi Assembly elections. In the first list, the party announced candidates for 11 seats. In the second list, candidates for 20 seats were declared on Monday.

 

For information, let us tell you that assembly elections are going to be held in Delhi next year in 2025. It is expected that assembly elections will be held in February. The Election Commission can also announce the date of elections in January. There is no alliance between Congress and AAP in Delhi. At the same time, the BJP is also busy preparing for the elections. In the 2020 elections, Aam Aadmi Party got an absolute majority and won 62 out of 70 seats. 8 seats went to the account of the BJP, while Congress's hands remained empty.
