BJP's victory in Haryana: BJP wins in 9 out of 10 corporations, Independent candidate wins in Manesar; Congress trails

The results of the mayor elections of 10 municipal corporations of Haryana have started coming. Independent candidate Dr. Indrajit Yadav won in Manesar Corporation. He defeated BJP candidate Sundar Lal. Indrajit Yadav had campaigned by calling himself close to Union Minister of State and BJP MP from Gurugram Rao Indrajit. At the same time, the BJP has won the mayoral elections in Rohtak, Hisar, Karnal, Ambala, Sonipat, and Faridabad Municipal Corporations. Congress is behind in all the corporations.

 

BJP's Dr. Sanjay Jangra has won the chairman post in the Nagar Palika of Julana, the assembly constituency of Congress MLA Vinesh Phogat. Independent candidate Vikas Kumar has become the chairman of Jakhal Mandi Nagar Palika of Fatehabad district.

 

BJP defeated Congress in Rohtak, Ram Avtar Valmiki won by 45 thousand 171 thousand

 

BJP has defeated Congress in the Municipal Corporation Mayor election. The party's mayor candidate Ram Avtar Valmiki, who had lost the assembly elections from Kalanaur constituency thrice, defeated Congress candidate Surajmal Kiloi by a margin of 45 a 191 thousand votes. The special thing was that where Congress had won in the Jat-dominated wards in the Lok Sabha and assembly elections, BJP prevailed in the mayoral election. Congress has suffered a crushing defeat in the non-Jat-dominated wards. In the 13 rounds of counting, Congress could not defeat BJP in even a single round.

 

While the BJP put in full effort in the corporation elections, there was no enthusiasm in Congress. Former Chief Minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda did not even come to campaign. MP Deepender Hooda took charge of the election campaign. Congress MLAs BB Batra and Shakuntala Khatak were seen campaigning in their constituencies. On the other hand, the BJP had put in all its strength. Chief Minister Naib Saini not only came to file the nomination of the mayor candidate but also issued a resolution letter for the civic elections from Rohtak itself. Apart from this, BJP state president Mohan Lal Baroli, Minister Arvind Sharma, Krishnalal Panwar, Krishna Bedi, Shruti Chaudhary, Deputy Speaker of the Assembly Krishnalal Middha and former minister Manish Grover participated in the campaign.

BJP captures Kharkhoda Nagar Palika

 

BJP has succeeded in capturing Kharkhoda Nagar Palika elections. BJP candidate Heera Lal Indora has won with a huge majority. He has defeated independent candidate Maxine Thekedar. While in the ward councillors' contest too, a close contest was seen in two wards. In which in ward four, Jasbir defeated former councillor Mohan Dahiya by three votes. While in ward nine, Sanjay Panwar defeated Sandeep by just one vote in a close contest.

 

Counting of votes started at 8 am in Kharkhoda under the supervision of RO SDM Dr. Nirmal Nagar. First, the results of the ward councilors came, Hariom from Ward One, Lakshmi Devi from Ward Two, Naveen Dahiya from Ward Three, Jasbir from Ward Four, Seema Devi from Ward Five, Pramod from Ward Six, Anoop from Ward Seven, Krishna Kumar from ward eight, Sanjay Panwar from ward nine, Veena Devi from ward ten, Somvati from ward 11, Poonam Devi from ward 12 won unopposed, Gopal Saini from ward 13, Manisha Rani from ward 14, Anil Kumar from ward 15 and Mukesh Kumar from ward 16 won.

 

As soon as the supporters outside the girl's college got the news of their candidate's victory, they started playing drums. After this, colors were also thrown. After this, as soon as the counting of votes started for the post of Nagar Palika President, Heera Lal of BJP started taking the lead in the first round itself and maintained the lead in all three rounds and registered victory. After this BJP workers took out a victory procession in the city to celebrate the victory.

 

BJP's Rajneesh Mehta crowned Radour Municipality President

 

BJP was successful in bagging the post of President of Nagar Palika Radour. Here BJP candidate Rajneesh Mehta got 1904 votes and defeated the nearest rival independent candidate Dalip Kumar alias Rinku by 482 votes. Dalip got 1422 votes. Apart from this, independent candidate Mahindra got 533 votes, Ajay got 456 votes, Satwinder got 141 votes, while 31 people pressed the NOTA button.

 

Let us tell you that only BJP had fielded its candidate for the post of President of Radour Municipality. Only BJP contested the election here on its symbol. Congress and other parties did not contest the election on their symbol. Other parties except BJP were not seen very active in the election campaign. BJP got the benefit of this and its candidate Rajneesh Mehta emerged victorious.

 

Sonipat Municipal Corporation Mayor by-election, BJP's Rajiv Jain registered a big win.

In the Municipal Corporation Mayor by-election, BJP candidate Rajiv Jain won by defeating Congress candidate Kamal Diwan by a huge margin of 34,766 votes. After the counting of votes was completed, tremendous enthusiasm was seen among the BJP workers.
