Here BJP candidate Rajneesh Mehta got 1904 votes and defeated the nearest rival independent candidate Dalip Kumar alias Rinku by 482 votes. Dalip got 1422 votes. Apart from this, independent candidate Mahindra got 533 votes, Ajay got 456 votes, Satwinder got 141 votes, while 31 people pressed the NOTA button.
