New Delhi. Delhi Metro Service News: 14,000 employees have returned to work since Tuesday on the orders of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation. Most of these employees have also taken over their work since morning. In such a situation, speculations are being made that DMRC may start the services of trains from 27 May.

It is being said that the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation is fully ready to start operating Metro trains on select routes as soon as the green signal is received from the central government. It is believed that the central government can take a big decision in this regard. People are also raising the question that if buses, trains and air travel has started in Delhi then why can't the Delhi Metro fill the pace? It is obvious that with the running of Delhi Metro, the increased traffic burden on the roads can be reduced. At present, due to less buses in Delhi, people have to wait for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Kejriwal government agrees to run Delhi Metro

Significantly, the ruling Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi had recommended the start of the Metro from May 18, the start of Lockdown-4, but due to lack of approval from the central government, the operation could not start.

Metro is running

Can Delhi Metro Rail Corporation start Delhi Metro operations in the next few days? The answer to this question can be found in the next few days. Actually, DMRC is preparing daily to operate metro trains. In view of the aspect of trial and maintenance, Delhi Metro revolves from one end to the other on some routes. According to estimates, since the start of the 22 March lockdown, 4000 Metro trains have been deployed so far. From this, it can be guessed that DMRC is only waiting for approval from the Center. On 21 May last week, DMRC Managing Director Mangu Singh inspected the Khyber Pass and Shastri Park Depot.

In view of the order of the Delhi High Court during the last hearing, it is possible that in a few days, the Union Urban Development Ministry may also issue a directive to start the operation of the metro.
