Budgam Encounter: Security forces got a big success in Budgam, Jammu and Kashmir, 3 terrorists killed in the encounter

Budgam Encounter: The security forces have got great success in Budgam of Jammu and Kashmir. The ADGP of Kashmir told that the security forces have killed all the three hiding terrorists in the Budgam encounter. Bodies are being taken out from the spot, the identity of the slain terrorists is yet to be ascertained. Incriminating material, arms and ammunition have been recovered from the terrorists.

 

Earlier on Wednesday morning, a police spokesman said that security forces launched a cordon and search operation at Waterhole in Khansahib area in the district after receiving information about the presence of terrorists.

During the search operation, the security forces encountered these terrorists and on seeing the terrorists started firing on the security forces. Security forces also retaliated. Kashmir's Additional Director General of Police (Kashmir Division) Vijay Kumar said that three Lashkar terrorists, including wanted terrorist Latif Rather, have been surrounded in the encounter.

 

Kumar tweeted that three terrorists of terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba, including terrorist Latif Rather, have been surrounded in the encounter. The terrorists are involved in the killing of many civilians including Latif, Rahul Bhat and Amrin Bhat.

No casualty has been reported in the encounter so far. Rahul Bhat was shot dead by terrorists inside the tehsil office on May 12 in Chadoora town in Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir. He got the job of 'clerk' under the special employment package for refugees. A few days later, Lashkar terrorists shot dead TV artist Amrin Bhat at his house in Chadoora in Budgam district.
