The Punjab Police has claimed the involvement of two sharpshooters from Pune in the Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala murder case. These include Siddhesh Hiraman Kamble alias Saurabh Mahakal and Santosh Jadhav. Mahakal was arrested last week by the rural police of Pune from the Ahmednagar border, about 90 km from the city. At the same time, Jadhav was arrested from Kutch in Gujarat on Sunday. A vicious criminal named Navnath Suryavanshi has also been arrested with him. At present, all three are in the custody of Pune Police till June 20.
Siddhesh Kamble, who was caught by the local crime branch team of Pune Rural, is a resident of village number 14 in Narayangaon, about 70 km from Pune. According to relatives, he is only 17 years old, but police claim that he is an adult and his age is 19 years. Siddhesh has been arrested under MCOCA (Maharashtra Control of Organized Crime Act). He is accused of being involved in the murder of Omkar Bankhele alias Rania (24) that took place in broad daylight in Eklhare Fakirwadi area of Manchar on August 1, 2021.
Mahakal's age may be small, but his exploits are so great that many villagers tremble with him. Dainik Bhaskar reached the village of both his mother and father and tried to know-how at such a young age he became such a big criminal, which the police of 5 states were looking for. These include police teams from Maharashtra, Punjab, Delhi, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh.
Mother had set herself on fire by sprinkling petrol
Mahakal's mother's name was Sunita and 7 years ago today, she set herself on fire by sprinkling petrol in a domestic dispute. The special thing is that Sunita married Hiraman Kamble after running away from home. Both have a total of four children including Siddhesh and no one knows where they are at present. Police are also looking for them.
After their mother's departure, their father became an alcoholic, and Mahakal became a criminal
Kamble was about 12 years old at the time of his mother's death and was studying in Class VII at the Zilla Parishad Primary School in Khamudi. A close relative of his (on condition of anonymity) told- He became unruly after his mother left. The father, who works as a driver, used to be intoxicated throughout the day and he started living with the criminals. During this time she also met Santosh Jadhav. Jadhav then dropped out of school and suddenly disappeared.
The mobile charger was stolen at the age of 10
Another relative of Siddhesh Kamble said that Mahakal was a criminal since childhood and at the age of 10, he was caught stealing a mobile phone charger from their house. After that, he scolded her and threw her out of the house.
A month before the Moosewala massacre, he had come to his mother's village i.e. Khamundi, and also met some of his relatives. According to relatives, he had grown a beard and had come to the village on a bike. He stayed in the village for some time and then went somewhere.
Villagers are afraid to talk about Mahakal
The fear of Siddhesh Kamble is such that the people of the village are afraid to talk about him. In the village number 14 with a population of 10 thousand, not a single person was found who spoke openly in his bar. Almost everyone said that the police are constantly making rounds here to find out about Kamble. Because of Kamble, his village has become infamous. They also want that its truth should come out soon. A villager named Pramod Mehra said that we are also surprised that how can such a big criminal living among us become.
Relatives said the threat to life
A villager named Gangaram Bor told that some years ago Saurabh Mahakal's name was read in the newspaper. However, Gangaram does not know where he lives. Like Gangaram, Mahakal's cousin Rajesh reveals that he does not believe that he has become such a big criminal at such a young age. His relatives say that his life may be in danger if they state him.
Police of three states have questioned it
SP Abhinav Deshmukh of Rural Police, who is heading the team that caught Mahakal, said that we have arrested Mahakal in an old case of MCOCA. In this, a case was registered against him with murder (302), murder attempt, 34 under Arms Act, and section 3(1) of MCOCA. Punjab, Delhi, and Mumbai Police team from Mahakal has been questioned for threatening singer Musewala and actor Salman Khan. It is likely to be involved in some crimes committed in other states as well. The investigation is still on, so this is the only thing that can be said in this matter so far.
Mahakal wanted to run an extortion racket in Bollywood
Mahakal was also behind threatening Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan. In his statement, Mahakal has told the Mumbai Crime Branch that by threatening Salman, he wanted to spread panic in Bollywood, so that extortion could be demanded from big stars. In the threatening letter that Salim Khan had received, it was said, 'Salim Khan, Salman Khan, very soon you will have a Moosewala-like condition. GB and LB...' It is being speculated that GB may mean gangster Goldie Brar and LB may mean Lawrence Bishnoi. Both of them are accused in the Moosewala murder case.
Sidhu Musewala was killed by Mahakal's shooter
Delhi Police's Special CP HGS Dhaliwal told that it was the shooter close to Mahakal who killed Sidhu Musewala and the mastermind of this massacre is Lawrence Bishnoi.
