'O Sajni Re..', Indian Railways celebrates Laapataa Ladies' entry in Oscar 2025

Everyone is celebrating the low-budget film 'Laapata Ladies' directed by Kiran Rao at this time. This film has made its place in Oscar 2025 by defeating four films. Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao have already expressed their happiness for the film reaching such a big platform.

 

Now recently, Indian Railways has also congratulated the entire team of the film 'Laapataa Ladies' for being included in Oscar 2025. He has expressed his happiness in becoming an important part of this film.

On Monday, this film starring Nitanshi Goyal, Sparsh Srivastava, and Pratibha Ranta was selected by the 'Film Federation of India' as India's official entry in the Best Foreign category at Oscar 2025. Now Indian Railways has also joined this celebration.

 

'Ministry of Railways has shared a post on its official x account congratulating the entire team of 'Laapata Ladies'. Indian Railways wrote, "O Sajni Re... Many many congratulations! Indian Railways is very proud to be a part of this wonderful film".

 

What is the story of Laapata Ladies?

 

Let us tell you that the film 'Laapata Ladies' was released in the year 2023. The story of this film is about two girls living in a small village, who change due to the veil while going to their respective in-laws on the train after marriage.

 

While Jaya reaches Deepak's house, 'Phool Kumari', who neither knows her house nor her in-laws, gets lost, but she does not lose courage. Deepak also leaves no stone unturned to find her. The story moves forward like this. Made on a budget of four to five crores, this film had a lifetime collection of around 24 crores.
