After his dismissal, Rituraj Gaikwad also got caught by Dwayne Pretorius on Ngidi's slower ball. 15 runs came off Ishaan's bat and 10 runs came off Gaikwad's bat.

Keshav Maharaj took over in his place. Kagiso Rabada, who was not a part of the team in the last T20, also made a comeback to the South African team.
