Oscar Awards 2023: The audience was eagerly waiting for the Oscar Awards 2023. This time this Oscar was very special for Indian cinema. This year three films were nominated for Oscars. The short documentary 'The Elephant Whispers', the film RRR and All That Breathes directed by SS Rajamouli were nominated.

 

Out of which 'All That Breathes' dropped out of the race, but Guneet Monga's short documentary film made a splash in 'Oscar Awards 2023'. Indian film 'The Elephant Whispers' won the Best Documentary Short Film award.

Making Indians proud, the film follows the story of a South Indian couple, Boman and Bailey, who brings home a tiny orphaned elephant and names him Raghu. He takes care of that elephant-like his own family.

 

In 'The Elephant Whispers', the love and bonding between humans and animals has been beautifully captured in this documentary. If you have not seen this short documentary film yet, then you can watch this film on the OTT platform Netflix. This film is directed by Kartiki Gonsalves.
