The situation is worst in Assam. Here the floods in the Brahmaputra and the rivers flowing along it have caused such havoc that hundreds of villages have taken water samadhi. At the same time, more than 7 lakh people have been affected by the floods. Crops have also been destroyed.
More than 500 people are forced to live on railway tracks in Assam. So far 15 people have lost their lives here. Bihar has a maximum of 33 deaths due to lightning. At the same time, there is news of 9 deaths in Karnataka as well. At the same time, 10 flights from Delhi had to land at Amritsar airport due to bad weather.
Assam: 7.12 people from 29 districts homeless
According to the Assam State Disaster Management, around 7.12 lakh people are affected by the floods in 29 districts of the state. More than 500 families from two villages of Jamunamukh district have made their temporary shelter on the railway track. More than 3.36 lakh people are affected in Nagaon district alone, while 1.66 lakh people have been affected in Cachar district, 1.11 lakh in Hojai, and 52709 in Darang district.
Bihar: 33 deaths in 16 districts
At least 33 people died in 16 districts due to thunderstorms and lightning in Bihar on Friday. CM Nitish Kumar announced an assistance of Rs 4 lakh to the families of those who lost their lives in the incidents. The State Meteorological Department says that light rain with thunderstorms may occur in some parts on Saturday and Sunday. This is because pre-monsoon activities have now become active here.
7 deaths highest in Bhagalpur

Karnataka: 9 killed, schools and colleges closed
With the onset of pre-monsoon in Karnataka, the situation is worse. Nine people died in water-logging accidents, while many were injured. All schools have been closed as a precaution. Four teams of NDRF have been deployed for relief and rescue work.
23 houses have been reported damaged due to rain. Revenue Minister R. Ashok said that the Meteorological Department has issued a red alert in Chikmagalur, Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Shivamogga, Davangere, Hassan, and Uttara Kannada districts. Due to the alert of rain in the coming days also, there is a danger of further damage to the standing crops in the fields.
