Monsoon is active in most parts of the country. Even today, the Meteorological Department has issued a forecast of moderate to heavy rain in most states including UP, Bihar, and Punjab. Rain is expected in the states from north to south today. Talking about Uttarakhand, there will be light rain here, while the sky will remain cloudy.

 

Light to moderate rain may occur over Gujarat, South Rajasthan, Andaman, and Nicobar. Moderate rain is expected over the remaining parts of Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, Konkan and Goa, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha. Rain is also expected in Karnataka and Jharkhand. According to the Meteorological Department, Delhi-NCR will remain partly cloudy on Wednesday. There is no chance of rain, but there will be a respite from the sultry heat. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be 35 and 26 degrees Celsius respectively.

 

How will the weather be in UP, IMD has issued an alert

 

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light rain at different places in UP today. At the same time, on August 20-21, heavy rain may occur in many districts including Kanpur, Lucknow, Meerut, Varanasi, and Prayagraj. The weather will be pleasant in East Uttar Pradesh. A yellow alert for rain has been issued. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rain on August 19-20 in the districts around Kanpur. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert. At the same time, in many districts including Lucknow, Varanasi, and Prayagraj, heavy rain has also been predicted from August 20-21.

 

Heavy rain is expected in these states including Rajasthan Gujarat

 

According to Skymet Weather, light to moderate rain with light to moderate rain may occur at isolated places over South Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Andaman and Nicobar Islands today. Light to moderate rain with one or two heavy spells may occur over Konkan and Goa and Madhya Maharashtra.

Light rain is possible over Western Himalayas, Northeast India, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, remaining parts of Sikkim, Chhattisgarh, East Madhya Pradesh, Coastal Karnataka, and Telangana.

 

Light rain will occur at some places in Punjab

 

A light to the cloudy sky is expected in most parts of Punjab for the next one week. Light rain may also occur in some places. In some places, the humidity will increase when the sun comes out.

 

Heavy rain warning in Himachal Pradesh

 

Heavy rain may occur in Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday with thunderstorms in most districts. A yellow alert has been issued for tribal Lahaul-Spiti and Kinnaur, Bilaspur, and Una districts. Water will rain with strong winds in six districts. There is no chance of rain in the Solan and Sirmaur districts.

 

Light rain likely in Jammu and Kashmir

 

Light rain is also expected in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday. In July this year, there has been more than 150 mm of rainfall, while in August also, there has been above normal rainfall so far. Farmers in low-lying areas are troubled due to excessive rainfall.
