Bengaluru City Police Commissioner informed that information was received about a racket that was issuing fake educational certificates including Masters and Ph.D. degrees from various universities and various prestigious institutions in India.
Bengaluru City Police Commissioner Prathap Reddy said that based on concrete information, an institute providing distance education was searched. Around 1000 fake certificates and seals from various universities have been found during the search. At the same time, four people have been arrested in the case and they are being interrogated.
