Weather Update Today: Heavy storm in Bihar, chances of rain in UP, know-how will be the weather in your state today

The rapid change in weather is being observed across the country. While the outbreak of heat is being seen in North India, the havoc of rain continues in South India. The Meteorological Department believes that the monsoon may also knock soon. After reaching the Andaman and Nicobar Islands early, the Southwest Monsoon is moving towards Kerala and the Meteorological Department has predicted its arrival in the state by the middle of next week.

 

There has been a severe flood in the state of Assam the country. It is also raining heavily in Tripura. According to the Meteorological Department, strong winds are expected in the capital of Delhi on Friday. Meanwhile, the heatwave continues in the national capital. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in many parts of Northwest India between 22 and 24 May. The Meteorological Department has said that there is a possibility of light rain with thunder, lightning, thunderstorm, and hailstorm in isolated areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand between June 21-24.

 

Thunderstorm likely to occur in Delhi

 

The Meteorological Department has predicted a partly cloudy day and thundershowers in the evening in the capital Delhi on Friday. According to the Meteorological Department, strong winds will blow at a speed of 20-30 kilometers per hour on Friday. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 44 degrees Celsius and 29 degrees Celsius respectively. The Meteorological Department has also issued a yellow alert because of the strong winds accompanied by a dust storm on Saturday. Apart from this, a yellow alert has also been issued for 23 and 24 May. For the next three to four days, the sky is likely to be partly cloudy and with thundershowers.

 

27 people died in Bihar due to strong storms and rain

 

Thunderstorms occurred in many parts of Bihar on Thursday with a speed of 25 to 60 kilometers per hour and then after some time, there was light and strong rain. Hail also fell at many places. During this, 27 people died in different incidents at different places in the state. The dead include five from Muzaffarpur, four from Bhagalpur, three each from Lakhisarai-Saran, two from Munger and one each from Jamui, Banka, Begusarai, Khagaria, Purnia, Nalanda, Jehanabad, Samastipur, Darbhanga and Araria. During this, kutcha houses and trees fell in many places. This affected the traffic as well as the power supply.

The districts of Bihar where a rain alert has been issued are East Champaran, West Champaran, Gopalganj, Madhubani, Sheohar, Muzaffarpur, Sitamarhi, Darbhanga, Vaishali, Samastipur, Supaul, Araria, Saharsa, Madhepura, Kishanganj, Purnia, Katihar, Bhagalpur. and dandelion is included.

 

Chances of rain in these districts of UP

 

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light rain with thunderstorms in Uttar Pradesh on May 20 and 21 in Siddharthnagar, Kushinagar, Deoria, Gorakhpur, and Sant Kabir. On this day, there may be rain with thunderstorms in Rampur, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Bulandshahr, Moradabad, Saharanpur, and Shamli.

 

Chances of rain in many districts of Jharkhand

 

Talking about Jharkhand, the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of rain in the next 24 hours in Rajdhavi and nearby districts. While issuing an alert, the Meteorological Department has said that there may be rain along with thunderstorms in many districts.

 

Heavy rain in these states including Kerala, red alert issued

 

A red alert has been issued for heavy rain in Kerala. Monsoon is expected to reach Kerala by next week. Apart from this, rain may occur in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana today, the Meteorological Department has issued a warning in these states. Talking about the North-Eastern states, there may be rain in Meghalaya and Assam.

 

Heat havoc continues in these states

 

The heatwave continues in many districts of Rajasthan, Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, and Madhya Pradesh. People's health is also deteriorating due to the heatwave. People are avoiding leaving the house. The maximum temperature in Delhi today is 44 degrees and the minimum is likely to be 29 degrees. On the other hand, in Noida, today the maximum temperature is likely to be 44 degrees and the minimum is likely to be 29 degrees.
