EOU will take Manish Kashyap on remand for 7 days, police of two states ready with a list of questions

Bihar Police will take Manish Kashyap on remand, arrested for circulating a fake video of the attack on Bihari workers in Tamil Nadu. The Economic Offenses Unit (EOU) probing the case has filed a remand application in the court. According to police sources, a remand of seven days has been sought. It is expected that on Tuesday the court can hand over Manish Kashyap to the police on remand for five to seven days. After this, the police will interrogate Manish Kashyap in detail in the whole matter.

 

The investigation of Tamil Nadu Police is also going on regarding investigation of the fake video case. Police Headquarters ADG Jitendra Singh Gangwar said on Monday that about a dozen FIRs have been registered in Tamil Nadu regarding this episode. In this regard, the Tamil Nadu Police team is going to many states including Bihar to investigate. On the question of whether Tamil Nadu police will also take Manish on remand, ADG said that first Bihar police will ask for remand.

 

Raids continue in search of the three accused

In the Tamil Nadu case, EOU has registered three FIRs, in which five accused including Manish have been arrested so far. Three primary accused including Yuvraj Singh Rajput of Bhojpur are still absconding, whose search continuous raids are being conducted. According to police sources, a team of EOU is also conducting raids in Uttar Pradesh in search of the accused.

 

Please tell that after surrendering during Kurki in Bettiah, YouTuber Manish Kashyap was brought to Patna by the Bihar Police. After coming to Patna on Saturday evening, the team of the Economic Offenses Unit (EOU) questioned him till late at night. On Sunday, the EOU produced him in the special court, after which Manish Kashyap was sent to jail in judicial custody for 14 days. The Tamil Nadu Police team is also in Patna to investigate the fake video case of the laborers. If Manish Kashyap is remanded, along with the EOU, the Tamil Nadu Police can also interrogate him in the fake video case.
