IND vs PAK U19: India got its first defeat in Under-19 Asia Cup, Pakistan defeated by eight wickets

Pakistan has defeated India by eight wickets in the Under-19 Asia Cup. Batting first at the ICC Academy ground in Dubai, India scored 259 runs losing nine wickets. In reply, Pakistan achieved the target by losing two wickets in 47 overs. Azaan Awais played an unbeaten inning of 105 runs and captain Saad Baig played an unbeaten inning of 68 runs. Shamail Hussain was out after scoring eight runs and Shazeb Khan was out after scoring 63 runs.

 

Earlier, three batsmen played half-century innings for India. Adarsh Singh scored the highest score of 62 runs. Uday Saharan contributed 60 runs and Sachin Das contributed 58 runs. Arshin Kulkarni was out after scoring 24 runs and Rudra Patel was out after scoring one run. Pakistan captain Saad Baig won the toss and decided to bowl first. Mohammad Zeeshan took four wickets for Pakistan. Aamir Hasan and Ubaid Shah took two wickets each. Arafat Minhas took one wicket.

 

Highlights of the first innings

 

Arshin Kulkarni was out after scoring 24 runs in 24 balls, Aamir Hasan got him caught by Saad Bagh.

 

Rudra Patel was out after scoring one run in 11 balls, Mohammad Zeeshan got him caught by Saad Bagh.

 

India crossed the 50-run mark in 14 overs, with Uday and Adarsh at the crease.

 

India's score crossed 100 runs in 25 overs, and captain Uday and Adarsh were at the crease.

 

Adarsh Singh was out after scoring 62 runs in 81 balls, Arafat Minhas got him caught by Saad Bagh.

 

Musheer Khan returned to the pavilion after scoring two runs in six balls and was caught by Aamir Hasan on the ball of Mohammad Zeeshan.

 

India's score crosses 150 runs in 35 overs, and Avinash and Uday are at the crease.

 

Avinash was out after scoring 11 runs in 13 balls, Amir Hasan got caught by Shahzaib Khan.

 

India's score crossed 200 runs in the 42nd over, and Sachin and Uday are at the crease.

 

Uday Saharan was out after scoring 60 runs in 98 balls, Ubaid got him caught by Riazullah.

 

Murugan Abhishek was out after scoring four runs in eight balls, caught by Ubaid Shah by Tayyab.

 

Limbani was out after scoring seven runs in nine balls, caught by Tayyab Arif on the ball of Mohammad Zeeshan.

 

India's score crossed 250 runs in the 49th over, with Sachin and Soumi at the crease.

 

Sachin Das was out after scoring 58 runs in 42 balls, Mohammad Zeeshan got him caught by Tayyab Arif.

India defeated Afghanistan in its first match

India defeated the Afghanistan Under-19 team in its first match. The Indian bowlers were aggressive and bowled out Afghanistan for just 173 runs and the Indian team achieved the score with seven wickets in hand. Arshin Kulkarni performed brilliantly for India, scoring 70 runs and taking three wickets. On the other hand, Pakistan had defeated Nepal in their first match. Mohammad Zeeshan had taken six wickets and Pakistan had bowled out Nepal for 152 runs. After this, half-centuries from Azaan Awais and Saad Baig helped the team chase the target in 26.2 overs with seven wickets remaining.
