The number of vomiting and diarrhea patients in SN Medical College and District Hospital has increased by one and a half times. The situation is that the emergency and ward beds are full. CMO Dr. Arun Srivastava said that 5-bed cold wards have been made in CHC and 10-bed cold wards have been made in the district hospital. He said that 1000-1000 packets of ORS and glucose bottles have been stocked. There is excess stock in the warehouse of the department. A rapid response team has also been formed. There is an appeal to the people not to go out in the sun unless there is some urgent work.
Principal of SN College, Dr. Prashant Gupta said that the emergency wards are full. In this, the number of patients suffering from heat stroke and diarrhea is more than 60 percent. Arrangements have also been made to increase 10 beds each in the wards of the Medicine and Pediatrics departments if needed.
This advice was given:
- Drink 5-6 liters of water, one glass every half hour.
- Complete important market tasks in the morning and evening.
While going out, wear full-sleeved cotton clothes and cover your head and ears. Wear glasses.
- Avoid market food, fast food, and oily food.
- Do not use tea-coffee, smoke, tobacco, and alcohol.
- Drink plenty of buttermilk, lassi, lemon water, Shinji, and coconut water.
-Eat juicy fruits including watermelon, melon, orange, and grapes.
- Eat more tomato, cucumber, and cucumber in salad.
- Eat more green vegetables including ridge gourd and gourd in your diet.
