A violent clash broke out between two groups of students at Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) on Sunday evening over non-veg food. Many students were injured in this. ABVP members have accused the Left Wing of not allowing worship on Ram Navami. He said that today on Ramnavami at 3.30 pm, the students had kept puja and havan. Left-wing people did not allow them to worship after reaching there, later they started talking about food disputes.
After the violent clash, members of both the groups demonstrated overnight at the police station. Now an FIR has also been registered on this matter.

Police reached there on the information of the university. DCP Manoj C. said that some students have been injured in the incident, and have been rushed to the hospital. Delhi Police said that students of JNUSU, SFI, DSF, and AISA have filed cases against some students of ABVP. Under which an FIR has been registered under section 323/341/509/506/34 of IPC. According to the police, ABVP students have also filed a complaint against the students of the left-wing.

All India Students Association (AISA) president and former JNUSU president N Sai Balaji said that around 4-5 pm on Sunday, he received information that some ABVP students threatened the mess manager to stop eating non-veg, drove away from the chicken vendor, and attacked the mess committee members.
