A unique problem has arisen before the Goa CBI. Four to five officers have only four to five corruption cases to investigate. Goa CBI SP Ashish Kumar says that in the last 5 years we have not received a single complaint of bribery or disproportionate assets here. This means that there is no corruption in Goa.
"I have never received any call regarding any corrupt activity in Goa, seeking my intervention," he said. Neither the public nor the media received any complaints. There is no corruption in Goa and we are not needed here, he said.
Only three cases in the last year
Earlier on Wednesday, while talking to the media, SP (CBI) Ashish Kumar said that in the last year, we have registered only three cases. In this, two cases are related to loan fraud within Canara Bank and one case is related to disproportionate assets. We have not received a single complaint of bribery in the last four years, the last complaint was in 2018. In such a situation, we can say that Ram Rajya has come to Goa.
