Dengue cases have increased so much in Delhi in the last two weeks that the state government has ordered to reserve of 10-15% of beds in hospitals for dengue.
Dengue cases have been reported from 27 districts of Bihar and Patna tops it. 13 new dengue cases have been registered in Nalanda, 9 in Nawada, 6 in Vaishali, 4 in Banka, 3 in Bhagalpur and 3 in Rohtas.
28 cases of dengue have also been found in Morena of Madhya Pradesh.
Apart from these, cases of dengue are also increasing in Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.

Answer- Dengue is caused by the bite of a female Aedes mosquito. These mosquitoes do not breed in the dirt but clean places. People who live in clean places in cities are more prone to dengue.
It is of four types, Type-1, Type-2, Type-3, Type-4. In colloquial language, it is also called break bone fever.

Answer- The maximum cases of dengue are seen from July to October. This means to say that dengue usually spreads only during the rainy season. In hemorrhagic fever, blood comes from the nose, gums, and vomit. The patient remains restless in Dengue Shock Syndrome. Sometimes he loses consciousness. In this, the blood pressure also starts decreasing.

Answer dengue becomes more serious when the platelet count in the blood of the sick person starts decreasing significantly.
Platelets are called clotting cells. In such a situation, if your platelet count level is already low, then you can get infected with dengue sooner than others.

Answer- It is important to pay attention to hematocrit and blood pressure more than counting platelets. Hematocrit is the percentage of the number of red blood cells present in the blood. It is 45 for men and 40 for women.
