Delhi Police arrested a driver working in the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Friday (November 18) with the help of security agencies. The driver has been arrested for sending confidential and sensitive information to Pakistan.
According to sources, Pakistan's intelligence agency ISI has honey-trapped the driver. Police and intelligence agencies have now launched an investigation to find out whether more employees working in the Ministry of External Affairs are involved in the case.
ISI targeted the driver
High-ranking officials often fall prey to honey traps, but this is perhaps the first time that Pakistan's ISI has targeted a driver. Pictures and videos of some girls have been received from the accused. The statement of the Ministry of External Affairs is still awaited in the matter.
