G20 Summit: PM Modi's very 'busy and profitable' tour, 45 hours 20 programs, and meeting 10 big leaders

The next 3 days of Prime Minister Narendra Modi are going to be very special and busy. PM Modi is going to Bali, Indonesia today to attend the G-20 summit. PM Modi will participate in 20 programs during this 3-day visit. Will hold bilateral talks with 10 world leaders and may be seen in some other programs as well. However, the meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping is not yet fixed.

 

Highlights of the G-20 summit and PM Modi's schedule

 

PM Modi will visit Bali city of Indonesia today (Monday) to attend the G-20 summit. He will stay here for 3 days.

 

At the G-20 summit, PM Modi will participate in three major sessions - food and energy security, health, and digital transformation.

 

The G-20 summit is considered very important for India. The heads of state of other countries including India, China, and America are participating in the summit.

 

The US has already said that it will hold wide-ranging discussions on global challenges, including the Russia-Ukraine war and its implications, during the G-20 summit.

 

PM Modi will stay in Bali for about 45 hours. During this, he will be involved in about 20 programs. It also includes the G20 summit.

 

PM Modi will hold bilateral meetings with around 10 global leaders during this summit.

 

PM Modi's meeting with the Indian diaspora in Indonesia's diaspora is also scheduled. A reception has been held for PM Modi here.

 

PM Modi's Bali tour is being described as 'busy and productive.

 

The G-20 summit will be held on 15 and 16 November. Indonesia will hand over the G-20 Presidency to India at the closing ceremony of the annual gathering.

 

Foreign Secretary Vinay Kwatra told that on the sidelines of the summit, PM Modi will hold bilateral meetings with several leaders, but the meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping is not fixed.

 

India will host the next G-20 summit in September 2023. During this, heads of state of many countries will come to India.

 

The G-20 is a group of 20 countries that includes the world's major developed and developing economies. This group includes India, the USA, the UK, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, and the European Union (EU).
