Global Investors Summit 2023: CM Yogi Adityanath invites investors from all over the world to invest in UP

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath formally announced the 'Uttar Pradesh Global Investors Summit-2023' in Delhi on Tuesday. From Delhi, he invited investors from all over the country to invest in UP. In front of ambassadors, high commissioners, and entrepreneurs of different countries at the summit's curtain raiser ceremony, Yogi also decorated the showcase of investment possibilities in UP, mentioning the positive changes in ease of doing business in his state.

 

CM Yogi unveiled the logo of GIS-2023 at a function organized on Tuesday at Sushma Swaraj Pravasi Bhartiya Bhavan, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi, and said that Uttar Pradesh is on the cusp of a progressive transformational journey under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The vision of a 'self-reliant India' set by the Prime Minister is the main pillar of this rejuvenation. Following PM Modi's vision of making India a five trillion dollar economy, Uttar Pradesh has set a target of one trillion dollars for itself.

 

World-class policymakers will participate in this summit: CM Yogi

He said that the Uttar Pradesh government is organizing a Global Investors Summit in Lucknow from February 10 to 12, 2023, so that the country and the world can benefit from the immense business opportunities available in the state. This Investors Summit will prove useful in providing a common platform for the global industrial world to cooperate in economic development. The CM informed the entrepreneurs that world-class policymakers, top corporate leaders, business delegations, and intellectuals will participate in this three-day global conference.

 

Business prospects and partnership opportunities will be brainstormed collectively. Inviting investors for the summit, he said that this time the state has set a target of Rs 10 lakh crore global investment through this summit. He also informed me about the preparations made so far. Said that so far 21 countries have expressed their enthusiasm for participation in the event. The Netherlands, Denmark, Singapore, the United Kingdom, and Mauritius will be the partner countries.

 

Will create a platform for the global business community: Nand Gopal Gupta 'Nandi'

The state government will also hold roadshows in 18 countries and seven major cities of India. Yogi informed about the amendments and changes made in the policies and claimed that efforts are on to improve the investment-friendly environment in Uttar Pradesh. State's Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta 'Nandi' mentioned the special facilities available to investors in UP, possibilities of investment, and the development of world-class infrastructure facilities.

 

He further said that through this flagship investors summit, we are creating investment attractiveness of Uttar Pradesh among the investor community and opportunities for the integrated development of the state. Create a platform for the global business community to collaborate in writing a new growth story for India. Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra, CII Vice President Sanjeev Puri, and FICCI President Shubhra Kumar Panda also addressed.
