Although their intensity was not the same and it kept decreasing.

Three fault lines in Delhi-NCR

According to the National Center for Seismology, there are three fault lines in Delhi-NCR. Where there is a fault line, the epicenter of an earthquake is formed there. Delhi-NCR has the Delhi-Moradabad fault line, Mathura fault line, and Sohna fault line under the ground. According to geologists, the real cause of earthquakes is the rapid movement of tectonic plates.

Apart from this, earthquakes also occur due to meteor impact and volcanic eruption, mine testing, and nuclear testing. The intensity of an earthquake is measured on the Richter scale. On this scale, an earthquake of magnitude 2.0 or 3.0 is mild, while magnitude 6 means a strong earthquake.
