Gold and Silver Prices in Global Markets

Gold prices are also trending higher in the international market. Spot gold is trading at $5,027.13 per ounce, while COMEX gold futures rose 1.94 percent to reach $5,179 per ounce. Similarly, silver prices have also seen a significant jump. Silver prices have risen 5.42 percent in the international market to reach $86.805 per ounce.

Trump's Tariffs Impact Prices

Analysts believe that amid global economic uncertainty, investors are turning to safe-haven options, especially gold and silver. Escalating trade tensions due to US President Donald Trump's decision to raise global tariffs and ongoing geopolitical tensions in West Asia have also supported demand for precious metals.

Market experts believe that given the current global situation and investors' risk-averse approach, the upward trend in gold and silver prices is likely to continue this week. Consequently, everyone, from retail investors to large investors, is now keeping an eye on the market's future direction: whether gold will reach new record highs or see temporary fluctuations.
