IMD Director General Mrityunjay Mohapatra said that the La Nina conditions are expected to persist throughout the monsoon, hence the rainfall is expected to increase.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of wind speed up to 30 kmph with rain on Wednesday. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 40 degrees Celsius.
At the same time, some areas of the capital may also experience thunderstorms, due to which the temperature will remain low. However, there is no chance of a heatwave this week.
